Apartment JM 69

The owners of apartment JM 69 wanted dramatic chic, a sense of art and fine sensuality in the home. The design is built around the paintings and art installations already present at the start.

Dual function and veiled details

As it is a family home with children, many of the adult elements are veiled and dual-purpose. Opposite the bedroom there is an aged mirror that leaves room for imagination without being direct, and beneath it, a fireproof rack for candles, so the flame reflects in the mirror and creates a double depth. The walls are protected with washable, dense wallpapers with a sound-absorbing function.

Kitchen and bathrooms with optimal functionality

In the bathroom, toilet and kitchen the design unfolds with optimal functionality and use of every niche. The fridge is floor-to-ceiling, the freezer is a separate unit under the worktop, and drinks have their place in a wine cooler. The requirement for minimal bending is met: a dishwasher with a lower shelf that lifts when loading, an oven with microwave above the worktop, and a niche for olive oils at worktop height.
