We approached the design with great care and respect for the spirit of an artistic home in central Sofia, full of paintings, solid-wood antique furniture and Italian clinker tiles, which we worked around, preserved and built upon.
Colour over the beige 1990s base
We added colour to an otherwise beige 1990s scheme: bursting out with a bordeaux kitchen and olive-green interior doors. We also defined separate zones for the paintings, candles and flowers that had previously been scattered at random.
One door bricked up, one new
We bricked up one door and opened another, which allowed us to create a much larger and more functional U-shaped kitchen.

Do you work with existing antique furniture and elements?+
Yes. For "Something New, Something Old" we worked around the owners' paintings, solid-wood antique furniture and Italian clinker tiles. We kept them and built on them with contemporary touches and colour.
