Event and meeting halls
The first thing we think about for an events hall isn't the look, but the acoustics and the function.
What is the first thing we begin to think about when creating a hall for training and meetings? Not the look, but the acoustics and the function. For many people speaking in one place to feel comfortable, there has to be a sufficient amount of sound-absorbing materials.
Depending on the expected number of people in the room, upholstered chairs, carpets and soft Roman blinds may prove insufficient to deal with the problem of echo, and then we add acoustic panels. For the smaller room, which serves as a study-cum-meeting room for internal company gatherings, we used exactly these sound-absorbing materials in the choice of furniture.
In the large training and events room we also covered the floor with office carpet, which not only breaks up sound but also adds interesting colour detail. The greatest amount of noise and reflected noise comes from the ceiling: into it we wove acoustic baffles from Decibel.bg, in harmony with the oval arches along the walls and the coat stands.
The rooms are in the office of a business with a female audience: staff, clients and partners. The soft colours, arches and fluid forms recreate the sense of softness, refinement and femininity that we received as a brief from the client.
Let's create something equally bold for your space.
